Did you know that Hong Kong is home to the most Rolls-Royce per capita?

Rolls-Royce has always been a car which depicts high-class luxury. So, in many ways it might not come as big of a suprise that Hong Kong has the most per head.

Regardless, the car is a world-renowned British manufacturer – and later recognised as a world-leading aerospace engineering company.

The company was founded in Manchester, England in 1906 by Mr Charles Rolls and Henry Royce – and hence, Rolls Royce was born.

Specifically, the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Rolls-Royce Ghost have been big sellers for the firm. A 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantom recently sold in the States for $470,295 (£294,118).

The huge pice tage includes a 12 cylinder engine, bespoke, leather trim bucket seats and rear seat lounge theatre fitted with 12 inch monitors. Not that is luxury!

Future of Rolls-Royce

Since its humble beginnings in the 1900s, over 100 years on, the Rolls-Royce bosses reveal they are drawing up plans for a 4×4 version.

To whet your appetite, you might like to take a look at this Rolls Royce rally car.

Another favourite video of mine is this high speed Albanian police chase, as seen in Top Gear Series 16 Episode 3 on BBC Two.

Here, you see the speed tested of the super luxurious Rolls-Royce Ghost as well as the Mercedes S65 AMG. Enjoy!
